I heard three separate shots Friday morning after 8:00 a.m. They sounded like they were either on the WMA or very close to it. None of them was mine.
The birds were still grouped together in huge flocks, I did see some single birds noth in the woods and very near on a main highway.
Gobbling at sunup did not happen, but got some response about 7:30 a.m. however, there was a flock together and got few responses. But it did feel good! _________________ To err is human, so keep practicing...... |

| I went Sunday before last and the woods were silent. I did see a strutting Tom with a hen about 70 yd away, but spooked them when I tried to make a move... |

finally heard one gobble at about 11:40 this morning. Called up a few hens, but that was all. They fed, saw no turkey and then went on their merry way. It wasn't exciting as shooting one(gobbler), but calling is fun. _________________ To err is human, so keep practicing...... |
